Document requirements for Import & Export shipments to Saudi Arabia

Import shipments require for general cargo -
  • Commercial invoice (attested by Chamber of commerce) Each item should show the country of origin in commercial invoice – Provided by supplier
  • Certificate of origin (issued & attested by Chamber of commerce)- Provided by supplier
  • Packing list in Supplier letterhead (no need chamber stamp) -Provided by supplier
  • SABER certificate & IECEE certificate(if required) - Provided by supplier
  • Online Authorization From FASAH System
Export shipments require for general cargo -
  • Commercial Invoice (attested by chamber of commerce)
  • Certificate of origin (issued & attested by Chamber of commerce)
  • Packing list (in Supplier letterhead without chamber attestation)
  • Online Authorization From FASAH System

SERVICES

New circular issued & published by Saudi Government stated that from 3rd of November 2012, consignee should be submit "supporting documents regarding the mode of payment of shipments either L/C, or transmittal copy or any other transferred or receipt" along with original chambered Invoice & Certificate of Origin (COO). If any customer /Shipper refuse to submit mode of payment copy, Bayyan will not able to print and shipment will be hold.

So, please do the necessary arrangements of submitting the required payment proof along-with normal documents From 3rd of November 2012 shipment onwards (Import & Export)
