Document requirements for Import & Export shipments to Saudi Arabia –
Import shipments require for general cargo -
- Commercial invoice (attested by Chamber of commerce) Each item should show the country of origin in commercial invoice – Provided by supplier
- Certificate of origin (issued & attested by Chamber of commerce)- Provided by supplier
- Packing list in Supplier letterhead (no need chamber stamp) -Provided by supplier
- Conformity certificate (issued by Intertek or SGS) SASO - Provided by supplier
- Bank transfer receipt (payment transfer to supplier) –provided by importer or Consignee
- Authorization letter (attested by chamber of commerce) –provided by importer or Consignee
- CR copy –(commercial registration copy) –provided by importer or Consignee
Export shipments require for general cargo –
- Commercial invoice Arabic & English (attested by chamber of commerce) – provided by exporter
- Certificate of origin (attested by chamber of commerce) -provided by exporter
- Packing list (in Supplier letterhead without chamber attestation)- provided by exporter
- Authorization letter (attested by chamber of commerce) -provided by exporter
- CR copy – (commercial registration copy) -provided by exporter
Notes- no need SASO or ICCP certificate for all items, kindly contact us and provide the HS code for the item importing to Saudi Arabia and we will check with customs tariff department and let you know real requirement -
